11244NAT - Course in Mental Health Support for First Responders
At Anzen Safety & Training, we deliver nationally recognised mental health training designed to help first responders — and anyone in the community — recognise, understand and respond to mental health challenges. Based at our Nelson Bay and Tomago training centres, we support learners across Port Stephens, Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley.
This Mental Health Support for First Responders course builds resilience, strengthens awareness and provides practical strategies for managing the psychological impacts of crisis response. While the course focuses on the needs of first responders, it’s equally valuable for anyone wanting to understand mental health, support others and respond effectively in high-stress situations.
You’ll learn to identify the signs and symptoms of mental health concerns, offer appropriate support, and take action until professional help is available. Delivered in a concise, time-efficient format, this short course provides essential skills that are both practical and immediately applicable — helping you build confidence and compassion when it matters most.
Book your Nationally Recognised Mental Health Support for First Responders course at our Nelson Bay or Tomago training centres today and learn to support those who support others.
