HLTAID016 - Manage first aid services and resources
At Anzen Safety & Training, we deliver nationally recognised workplace first aid training designed for those in nominated occupational first aid or management roles. Delivered at our Nelson Bay and Tomago training centres, this course supports businesses and individuals across Port Stephens, Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley in building safe, compliant and well-prepared workplaces.
This course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to establish, maintain and facilitate first aid systems within their organisation. You’ll learn how to conduct risk assessments to determine the right first aid resources, equipment, personnel and facilities — all in line with the first aid code of practice, safe work procedures, and relevant Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulatory requirements.
Through practical, hands-on training, participants will carry out first aid kit inspections, use checklists for maintenance and stock control, and ensure all first aid provisions remain compliant and ready for use. You’ll also learn how to develop and maintain first aid action plans, coordinate with key stakeholders, and participate in incident debriefing and evaluation to improve future responses and workplace safety outcomes.
