Build confidence. Protect your community. Learn skills that save lives.

Anzen Safety & Training’s First Aid programs are delivered by Glen and Rachael, experienced trainers with strong backgrounds in emergency response, nursing, and WHS. Their real-world expertise ensures every session is practical, engaging, and relevant to everyday situations.

We provide nationally recognised CPR and First Aid training for individuals, families, schools, and community groups. Whether you’re learning for the first time or refreshing your skills, our programs give you the confidence to act decisively when it counts.

At Anzen, we believe First Aid should be accessible, hands-on, and empowering. Our focus is on building capability, strengthening community safety, and supporting people to protect those around them with practical skills that make a measurable difference.

Meet Your Trainers

Rachael Denahy

Rachael has extensive experience as an Emergency Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Unit Manager. Having spent many years caring for patients in busy emergency departments, she has firsthand experience managing a wide range of emergencies and high-pressure situations. She continues to work clinically as a Registered Nurse in a busy emergency department alongside her role delivering first aid training and assessment at Anzen, allowing her to bring current, evidence-based practice into every course.

That frontline experience is what shapes every session Rachael runs. She has seen firsthand what happens when people know what to do in an emergency, and what happens when they do not. It is why she is so passionate about making sure the people she trains walk away with real, usable skills, not just a certificate.

Rachael also holds current accreditations across trauma care, resuscitation, and triage. Her teaching style is warm, practical and grounded in genuine clinical experience. She creates a learning environment where people feel comfortable asking questions and practising until the skills stick, so that if the moment ever comes, they are ready to act.

Glen Dunkley

Glen brings real emergency response and safety leadership experience into every training session. He is a Director on the Lifesaving Portfolio for Surf Life Saving NSW and has spent years involved in local emergency management and rescue committees, giving him first-hand, on-the-ground experience in emergency response and coordination, not just classroom theory.

Glen also spent years as Global Director of Health & Safety for a multinational organisation with over 20,000 employees across 30 countries, leading a safety team of 225+ people. Under his leadership, the organisation achieved a 23 percent injury reduction across a newly merged global business and a 33 percent year-on-year injury reduction in high-risk operations. That experience means Glen understands what genuinely reduces harm and saves lives, not just what looks good on paper.

Glen is a Chartered Professional Member of the Australian Institute of Health & Safety and has spent his career helping people and organisations build real capability to recognise hazards and respond effectively when it matters most. He brings that same practical, hands-on approach to every first aid session he delivers.

Why it matters …

Rachael and Glen are not trainers reading from a manual. Rachael works on the floor of a busy hospital Emergency Department right now, managing real trauma, resuscitation and triage. Glen has led safety and emergency response at a global scale and serves as a Director with Surf Life Saving NSW, on call for real rescues and emergencies. Between them, they bring genuine, current, on-the-ground experience into every course they deliver, not stories from years ago.

When you train with Anzen, you are learning from people who have been there this week, not just at some point in their career. That is what gives you the confidence to act, and be ready, if you ever need to be.
