HLTAID014 - Provide Advanced First Aid
At Anzen Safety & Training, we deliver trusted, hands-on first aid courses from our Nelson Bay and Tomago training centres, supporting individuals and workplaces across Port Stephens, Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley. Our focus is on real-world training that builds confidence, not just compliance.
The HLTAID014 – Provide Advanced First Aid course prepares you to manage complex and high-risk situations such as multiple casualties, severe injuries, or critical illnesses. Training is delivered in small groups by experienced instructors who bring genuine operational knowledge to every session. You’ll learn how to coordinate and manage an emergency response in line with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines, legal requirements and workplace protocols, from first response through to handover to emergency services.
Through realistic, scenario-based learning, participants will practise advanced treatments including managing hypothermia, hyperthermia, head, neck and spinal injuries, applying tourniquets and haemostatic dressings for life-threatening bleeding, and providing effective CPR. You’ll also learn to record casualty conditions, complete incident documentation and conduct post-incident debriefing that supports both safety and wellbeing.
Empower yourself with practical, nationally recognised training that makes a real difference when it matters most.
