PUAFER005 - Operate as Part of an Emergency Control Organisation (Fire Warden Course)
Commonly known as the Fire Warden Course, PUAFER005 equips participants with the skills and knowledge to implement an effective emergency response in accordance with workplace emergency procedures and the Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) framework. Delivered onsite at your workplace, or at our Tomago training centre, this course supports businesses and individuals across Port Stephens, Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley.
Participants learn how to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergency situations, operating within the command, control and communication structure of the ECO. The course follows Australian Standards AS 3745 and AS 4083, ensuring best-practice compliance across all workplace types and industries.

An individual undertaking this course with Allens Training Pty Ltd will need to demonstrate the following to be eligible for entry:
Capability to complete the practical demonstrations for the course, including:
Contribute to facility emergency planning
Undertake pre-emergency planning
Take on a leadership role/ deputy within the emergency control organisation
Wear required emergency control organisation identification
Complete facility emergency documentation

Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.
