Course Set - Provide Youth Mental Health Support
At Anzen Safety & Training, we deliver nationally recognised mental health training designed to help you recognise, understand and respond to the mental health needs of young people. Delivered at our Nelson Bay and Tomago training centres, this practical course supports individuals across Port Stephens, Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley who work with, care for, or support youth in any capacity.
Today’s young people face growing pressures — from academic demands to social challenges and exposure to stress or trauma. This course helps you identify signs of mental health concerns, respond safely and effectively, and provide meaningful support until professional help is available.
Participants will learn to recognise physical, behavioural and psychological changes in a young person’s wellbeing, respond appropriately after a crisis or distressing event, and build confidence in managing emerging mental health concerns. You’ll also gain strategies to promote resilience, wellbeing and positive communication, equipping you to support young people with empathy and skill.
Book your Youth Mental Health Support course at our Nelson Bay or Tomago training centres today and learn how to make a difference in the lives of young people.
